You've not mentioned here that in order for tumeric to be metabolized and not filtered out by the liver, it needs to be accompanied by black pepper (pepperdine being the active ingredient) and metabolization is further enhanced if you take it with a fat…so avocado, milk (as in golden milk), nuts, cheese…anything fatty. Without these additions, the tumeric cannot do its good work

ONLY I f it's organic turmeric, and it has to be taken with fat and or black pepper to be fully absorbed.

Does work great i boil it with water ten mins take it before bed and first thing in the morning. blocks estrogen also and really fight inflamation ! love it

A bit of a misleading title. It sounds like turmeric helps keep the weight off, not to lose the weight with it.
